The Board of Directors of the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sébastien Benedict as President and Chief Executive Officer effective October 20th, 2025. Sébastien brings extensive experience in public affairs, government relations, and leadership, and will lead Canada’s tourism industry forward during a time of opportunity and renewal.

We are confident his leadership will benefit our members and further strengthen our advocacy efforts on behalf of Canada’s tourism industry.”

The board would like to thank Claude Paul Boivin, who served as interim CEO during the transition. His steadfast stewardship helped guide TIAC through a period of change and ensure continuity for the organization and its members.
